Um dia no Mercado do CCB Novo&Antigo.

Este fim-de-semana fiquei doente e não consegui, afinal, ir ao MAC - Mercado Alternativo de Cacilhas. Tive pena, a rua parece-me muito simpática e gostava de vos conhecer. Fiquei melhor no Domingo e participei no Mercado do CCB Novo&Antigo.

Gosto muito do ambiente daquela feira. De manhã o som de fundo faz lembrar a praia, com as famílias a preparar toalhas, chapéus de sol e a molhar os pés à beira-mar. Chegam os primeiros visitantes, vêm passear, ver "como está a praia hoje" e o ar é fresco e cheio de luz.

Passam-se as horas, vai-se montando a montra para o mundo e chega a hora do almoço. No Domingo o sol estava muito quente e eu, que sou ainda principiante em feiras, não tinha onde me abrigar. Acho que "comi" o protector solar e mesmo assim queimei-me; pedi emprestado um cantinho na tenda da vizinha enquanto o sol queimava mais. As vizinhas foram muito simpáticas - a Coisas da Jô levou uma tenda maravilhosa; do outro lado tive oportunidade de ver ao vivo a também já conhecida Lovely (eu gosto especialmente das cestas pequeninas para criança); à minha frente tive, por exemplo, a Bzoing e ao fim do dia, uma menina cujo trabalho admiro encontrou-me - a Vanessa da Vangloria. Fiquei feliz por conhecê-la e ver ao vivo as suas peças. Ela mostrou-me um anel gravado em braile que me derreteu!

Enfim...tantas pessoas passaram no CCB anteontem e tiveram oportunidade de ver todas estas peças lindas, cada uma para seu público. Foi um autêntico dia de praia, com Arte, Moda, Design, Gastronomia, Antiguidades. Eu agradeço o feedback que me deram, gosto muito do contacto com as pessoas.

As mães levaram os filhos e os filhos também levaram as mães. Foi como assistir a um filme sobre genética, cada um mais parecido com o outro!

Vou continuar a trabalhar para o próximo evento. Neste mês talvez a um ritmo mais lento porque também estou a trabalhar noutro projecto mas cá vos espero online. :)

Como celebraram o vosso dia da mãe? A minha mãe foi ter comigo e eu adorei!!! Obrigada mamã :) (e aos ilustres visitantes que vieram com ela - foi tão bom!)

Como sabem, fiz pela primeira vez na vida, uma feira no passado dia 7 de Abril. Pois tenho a dizer que A-D-O-R-E-I ! 

A sensação de ter o público que me segue online, a falar comigo cara-a-cara é soberba. Obrigada a todos os que me visitaram de propósito e obrigada também a todos aqueles que, não fazendo a mínima ideia de que eu existia me deram apoio.

Recebi comentários muito bonitos dos visitantes, naquele dia no Mercado do CCB. Gostei imenso de ver o ar embevecido das senhoras (e um ou outro senhor, vá!) que conheciam as técnicas e se admiraram por vê-las recriadas. É de uma ternura lindíssima. Senti que inspirei meia dúzia e isso fez-me sentir muito preenchida. 

Eu tenho para mim que as ideias andam por aí (é verdade, a consciência colectiva) e faz todo o sentido que esta onda de slow fashion, a produção, não massiva mas pelas massas, como gostaria o Gandhi…isto não acontece por acaso. Criamos um ambiente propício e, sendo humanos, partilhamos sensações acerca dele; tendemos a solucioná-las da maneira mais saudável possível e acabamos juntos num movimento planetário muito bonito.

Alguns de nós criam e realizam as suas tendências, outros de nós usam as criações pelo prazer de as fruir e pela necessidade delas.

As you know, I did for the first time in my life, a craft fair on the last 7th of April. Well, I have to say that I  L-O-V-E-D-I-T! 

The feeling of being able to talk, face-to-face, to the audience who follows me online is superb. Thank you to all who visited me on purpose and thank also to all of those who, not having a clue about my existence supported me.

I received very beautiful comments from the visitors, on that day at the CCB Market. I enjoyed immensely seeing the yielded look on the ladies faces (and one or two gentlemen, yes!) who knew the techniques and were admired by seeing them recreated. It’s a beautiful tenderness. I felt I inspired half a dozen and that made me feel very fulfilled.

If you ask me, I’ll say that the ideas are floating by (it’s true, the collective conscience) e it makes all sense to me that this slow fashion thing, the production, not massive but by the masses, as Gandhi would like…this isn’t happening by chance. We create a propitious environment and, being humans, we share feelings about it; we tend to solution them in the healthiest way possible and we end up in a very beautiful planetary movement.

Some of us create and fulfill their tendencies, others use the creations by the pleasure of enjoying them and by the need of them.

Be a part of this movement of humanity – come together, create with us. If you’re not comfortable with creating yet, then use it! Bring it with you daily, making it possible for artists like me, to live the life we’re molded for. It’s just that…I’m going to tell you a secret – an artist caged on a call center overloads the planet with such bad energies, that one day there won’t be one little plant left alive to make cotton…and what a dreadful world that would be.

So that the plants may grow and invite us to Spring with refulgent aromas and colors, know our work at every public event, visit our online shops (which we decorate attentively to send our magic to you) and talk to us on the social networks, order us that special gift for someone close, to whom you want to make a surprise!

Vineyards Necklace Pôr-do-Sol really brought the Sun!

I've re-created the Vineyards Collection for this Season and Pôr-do-Sol has really improved.

The infinity cowls/necklaces have found a brighter inner light! Just look at them!

I've added a metal lock, which transformed completely the experience of wearing this necklace. Here you can see Pôr-do-Sol (translates to Sunset). 

I believe it gained a new tcharan! effect. Don't you think so?

Grey Knit Capelet with hooks or claps

This cape is knit in a wool with mohair, incredibly soft and light. It's warm and elegant. A feminine knit piece, very sexy, with a touch of mystery. (it reminds me of a cartoon character from when I was a child - Milady in Dartacão.)

This capelet can be worn indoors or inside your jacket. Outside of the jacket it looks lovely too.
